The Renaissance man who defined "The Renaissance Man", da Vinci was an architect, anatomist, sculptor, engineer, physiologist and inventor as well as a painter. With a mind we can scarcely conceive of, he made vast contributions to cultural and scientific knowledge with ideas ranging from solar energy to double-hull ships to plate tectonics to the helicopter, hundred of years before their realization. "Renaissance" barely scratches the surface of this extraordinary man and artist.
